Why is the brightness of the outdoor full-color LED display inconsistent?
A high-quality outdoor full-color LED display must adapt to different temperatures and weather, and can be used normally in various occasions. For far and near light to have a good effect, especially for large-scale concerts, special effects lighting must be particularly excellent to meet the needs of stage performances. But sometimes we find that the brightness of the LED display will be inconsistent. What is the reason for this?
1. The light-emitting element is the LED light-emitting tube, and inconsistency in brightness is inevitable during the production process. However, the countermeasure taken by LED display manufacturers is to classify after the production is completed. The smaller the brightness difference between the adjacent two levels, the better the consistency, but the more serious the phenomenon of low yield and high inventory will be caused. Therefore, all manufacturers control the brightness difference between two adjacent gears to be about 20%.
2. The driving components are generally constant current driving chips, such as MBl5026 and so on. These chips contain 16 constant current drive outputs, and the current output value can be set with resistors. The error of each output of the same chip is controlled within 3%, and the output error of different chips is controlled within 6%.
3. It is normal for the brightness error of 25% between the pixels of the LED display screen. If the LED light-emitting tube used is not of the same grade and type, the brightness error will rise to more than 40%.
Fourth, it is also worth noting that the brightness of the full-color LED display is inconsistent, which is the root cause of the blurred screen. Therefore, if you purchase a screen with inconsistent brightness, please contact your service provider or manufacturer for a solution.
Summary: When we encounter the inconsistent brightness of the LED display, there is no need to be particularly anxious. As long as we find the correct method and find the right problem, we can naturally solve similar abnormal situations very easily.
